  1. Find enclosed the first update to Bulletin Boards and Beyond, by
  2. Bernard Aboba. This update is being provided in two forms; a
  3. DocMaker document, and a SuperViewer document. Both documents
  4. contain the same material, albeit in different forms.

  6. The SuperViewer document is the choice for those who wish to
  7. print out the update. It is formatted in much the same style
  8. as the book itself, and contains a table of contents and index.
  9. Since the update is long (80 pages), those with slow printers
  10. are advised to view the update first (using the DocMaker version)
  11. in order to select the sections to print out.

  13. The DocMaker document is the choice for those who would
  14. prefer to peruse the update on their Macintosh. Readers may
  15. view the table of contents in order to select articles of
  16. interest to read in greater depth. Readers may also search
  17. the updates for keywords in order to find passages referring
  18. to the topic of interest. Since the DocMaker version
  19. of the update is not formatted for printing, it is advised
  20. that users wishing to obtain a paper copy of the update 
  21. print from the SuperViewer document.

  24. available in one form only, readers are requested to vote
